Common questions

Questions we hear all the time.

Is Magic card grading worth the cost?
For Reserved List cards and Alpha/Beta in good condition: absolutely yes. The grade premium on a $5,000 Reserved List card can be $2,000+ from PSA 8 to PSA 9.
What's the cheapest way to grade Magic cards?
CGC bulk for modern Magic. PSA Economy for budget Reserved List. SGC Standard cheapest base tier overall.
Should I grade my Alpha Black Lotus?
Almost certainly yes — but only after pre-grading to confirm grade ceiling. A predicted 7 doesn't justify $5,000+ in submission fees. A predicted 9 absolutely does.
