Should I skip PSA and just use SnapGrade? Depends on what you want.

If you're going to sell or hold a card and you need a slab + authentication for buyer trust, you still need PSA, BGS or CGC. They authenticate the card and put it in a tamper-evident holder. SnapGrade doesn't do that.

No. SnapGrade is an independent AI pre-grading service. We predict what PSA is likely to grade your card — we don't issue official grades or slabs. Use us to decide what to submit; use PSA to authenticate.
How does SnapGrade compare to PSA, BGS, and CGC?
Cost: 25–50× cheaper. Speed: same-day vs. months. Output: prediction vs. authenticated slab. SnapGrade is best before you send to a professional grader — it tells you which cards to send.
Does SnapGrade authenticate cards?
No. Authentication of vintage and high-value cards requires physical inspection — PSA, BGS, CGC and SGC are the right services for that. SnapGrade is purely a grade predictor for known-authentic cards.
Can I use SnapGrade reports in listings?
Yes. Every SnapGrade has a shareable public URL that buyers can verify — and many dealers report 15–25% higher conversion from including a SnapGrade in their listings.
