Economy

~$25/card · 60–120 days · cards under $499 declared value. Most popular for bulk submissions; longest queue.

Regular

~$50/card · 30–60 days · cards under $1,499 declared value. The most-used tier for collectors with valuable cards but not in a hurry.

Express

~$75/card · 5–10 business days · cards under $2,499 declared. Pay for speed when you need a card back for a sale window.

Super Express +

$150–$10,000/card depending on declared value. For high-end cards needing fastest turnaround and white-glove handling.

The math on a typical submission

A 20-card Regular-tier submission with $20 shipping each direction: 20 × $50 + $40 = $1,040. If 30% of those cards come back as 7s or 8s (typical without pre-grading), that's $300 of fees on cards that didn't earn a slab premium.

What is the cheapest PSA tier?
PSA Economy at ~$25 per card. There are occasional Bulk promotional tiers under $20/card for high-volume submitters, announced periodically.
How much should I budget for a PSA submission?
Per card: $25–$75 service fee. Plus $15–$50 in shipping/insurance for the whole shipment. For a 20-card submission expect $500–$1,500 total.
Are PSA grading fees worth it?
Only when the slab premium on the predicted grade exceeds the fee. PSA 10s typically clear the bar by a wide margin; PSA 8s often don't. Pre-grading sorts that for you.
Does PSA charge for cards that don't grade?
Yes. Even cards returned ungradeable or marked "MK" (markings) are charged the full service fee. Pre-grading catches obvious red flags before submission.
